Flashback

Life is pretty hectic at the moment. Good hectic, but still, there seems less time to blog. This image is a flashback to exactly a year ago - an early morning warm and sunny sandpit session. I'm hoping there might be a few more of these in the coming weeks.

I'm horribly overdue with the draw for the little cherry blossom necklace. My draw raised £75 for the British Red Cross effort in Japan so huge thanks for that. The winner of the necklace picked by random.org is the tenth receipt, Mandy of A Beatnik Love Affair. Congratulations Mandy, if you will email me your address it will be in the post very soon.

I have both kite-themed and rose-themed jewellery projects on the go at the moment. More on those stories later...

  3. Wish it was a wiggling toes in the sandpit kind of morning - grey and wet here.

  4. Believe me, I know what you mean about good hectic. Just where has the time gone? When, oh when, are we going to have that mug of tea? You have reminded me to go and get some sand. Thank you, Ax

  7. Time-out in a sand pit looks good to me!

(When you're a grown up you call it pottering in the greenhouse.)

It will soon be Nightingale time - I've never knowingly heard one! It's about time I did!

  9. Definitely time to kick back in the sandpit I think! Just a cuppa outside in the garden seems to do wonders to my frame of mind and, at this time of year, it seems to change every day.
Lucky winner of your gorgeous necklace. So sorry I missed the draw but big congrats on your efforts.
Love your blog, as always I kick myself when I don't keep in touch, but you know how it is!

  15. Good to hear you are 'nicely' hectic - ditto here! And Spring has arrived so all is well with the world!!

Congratulations on raising such a sum for the Red Cross and also congratulations to Mandy on her giveaway win.

I'm intrigued by your kite-themed jewellery Emma... as a matter of fact I'm enjoying wearing my delicate giveaway earrings once again... now that I'm not bundled up in thick jumpers and scarves.

Hope its a sandpit-session kind of day soon!
