My Creative Space: Silver pinecone

It's definitely winter. Snow is coming, apparently.

The bitingly cold weather gives me an urge to grab some willow twigs and make a winter wreath with pine cones and things.  I'm also rather obsessed with making nature in miniature at the moment. As it is I have to scrub the kitchen floor and finish some silver fingerprint orders.

I did have time to make a little silver pine cone though. I grabbed three tiny willow twigs from the garden and made a miniature wreath (it's about 7cm in diameter). It's a start anyway.

  5. Very pretty!

But ignore those weather people - metcheck say it isn't going to snow this far south and they're usually right. That's what I'm banking on, anyway.

We did have a dusting overnight but honestly, if you'd scraped it up from the whole village you'd only have had enough for a small snowball.

  8. We have a similar vein of creativity, my main love is nature and growing/selling my flowers, but it greatly informs my silversmithing, and your passion is your silver, but you take inspiration from nature! Nature and jewellery - we are so lucky to do what we do!! xx

The snow doesn't seem to be coming our way. I don't know whether to be relieved or not.
