Crochet camp

Kat is holding a month-long celebration of crochet over at her place. It's an introduction to slip knots, yarn, making woolly loops into fabric with a stick - everything you need to know to begin.

There will be sumptuous, free, downloadable patterns (the first one is already up), gentle step-by-step guides, trouble-shooting - the whole hooky nine yards. There are even crochet camp kits (although I think there may only be one or two left). You can read more here. I have my eye on the handwarmers and shall be attempting to venture into the world of Granny squares. Hooks out, and....crochet....

  2. What a clever idea to have a crochet camp. I did click over to the site and think that the instructions and photos are exceptionally clear.

I predict that lots of yarn, of all sorts of weight, will soon be sold. Crocheting gives results much more quickly than knitting, which is only one of its appealing characteristics.

I so love reading your comments and will try very hard to answer them but sometimes life gets in the way and I don't manage every time. Thankyou for dropping in here and taking the time to say something - it means a great deal.
