Open Studios 2012

I will be opening my garden and studio for two weekends in July: 14th/15th and 28th/29th.

This is part of the wonderful Cambridge Open Studios annual event during which over 200 artists and craftspeople open their studios, workrooms and special sheds and invite the public to see how they make their work.

You are welcome to come and spend time in the garden, sit in the studio for a while, ask questions, see me making new pieces and browse my current collection. The kettle will be on.

If you would like to come along then click here for more details. It would be great to see you there!

  3. Oh to be nearer to you Emma, I would love to come.
That little invitation 'to sit and enjoy the garden' sounds wonderful especially after seeing how beautiful it looks in CL. It would be lovely to see you at your work.
Wishing you success and sunshine. :)

  10. Your lovely blog is the best medicine. I've got a bit of a cold and feeling under the weather (Literally I think) and I've read all the way back to when you got your kiln. Congratulations on so many things:the Selvedge stand; The New Kiln; and especially the Country Living piece. (I'll be buying it this month)I'm so proud of you!
I am always envious of the fertility of your 'self-seeded' garden,it looks a picture. Good luck with the open studios.x

  20. Just catching up on your blog since I have mostly been away from blogging all summer. Oh how I love this Open Studio concept. You are truly blessed to live in a community that does such. Here in the US everything is so fast paced and mass produced and well just nothing like what life sounds like in your country. I try to live a simple cottage lifestyle even in the midst of materialism. You inspire me! thank you.

I so love reading your comments and will try very hard to answer them but sometimes life gets in the way and I don't manage every time. Thankyou for dropping in here and taking the time to say something - it means a great deal.
